Introduction to the Iridology Textbooks by John Andrews

All of these textbooks are considered to be the most comprehensive, up-to-date, accurate and holistic iridology titles available in the UK and throughout the world today. They have been critically acclaimed and validated for their content of classical, advanced, clinical and empirical experience plus new research in the iridology-field. Because they have helped to enrich our knowledge base and iridology assessments, they are utilised all over the globe in over 30 countries and six continents.

Confident & Competent Practice

All of the titles are proving to be essential reading in order to provide a confident and competent iridology practice. The books are appropriate for the following:

  • Iridologists
  • Iridology Students
  • Iridology Tutors
  • Iridology Researchers
  • Non-iridology medical and naturopathic-based practitioners or students who wish to have an extensive and different view of certain conditions involving the immune system, endocrine system, intestinal immunology, psychoneuroimmunology and the effect of stress and emotions on health

Excellent Reference Material

They are excellent reference guides for those studying, teaching and practising iridology. They are invaluable to have at hand for easy referral in the clinic. During a consultation we may recognise a sign, of the multitude that are possible in the iris, pupil or inner pupillary border, but not necessarily recall the meaning or significance of it. These books help to differentiate the many signs and clarify the analysis.

In addition to this, many results from research have given new interpretations of previously unidentified signs in the iris or IPB or even a new clear perspective in on established signs from the view of the:

  • Immune system
  • Endocrine system
  • Embryological development
  • Musculo-skeletal system
  • Nutrition
  • Emotional Dynamics
  • Genetic & epigenetic inheritance

How do I determine which book is appropriate for me?

This is a good question, as it depends where you are in your own studies or level of practice. However, it is fairly easy to prioritise, as the initial book to begin with is the compendium of all relevant signs up to 2004 Iris & Pupillary Signs, 2nd Edition. This is the basic textbook on John Andrews’ Iridology Training Courses, yet it is used by students and constantly referred to by practising iridologists.

Then if you wish to expand and encompass the in-depth and new work in Iridology linking Immunology & Iridology plus Endocrinology & Iridology, you will begin to see how the books have a common thread and begin to link in with each other. These two books are extensive tomes and are appropriate for all practitioners or researchers involved with any patients with immune system or hormonal conditions or concerns. The concise layouts of all the books mark them as indispensable reference guides to specific conditions, iris assessment and other diagnostics plus full therapeutic protocol guidelines, based on clinical experience.

Emotional Approaches in Iridology is proving to be an extremely influential book and even has study groups organised in some countries to research and apply the original methods discussed within it. This book is essential for those wishing to learn further and delve deeper about the psycho-emotional causes or triggers for disease, the role of stress, unresolved emotional issues, the limbic system and psychoneuroimmunology and how we can identify these through iris, pupillary & IPB analysis.

Eventually most practitioners or students of iridology are so inspired by the content they decide to acquire the full set of books.

All books are illustrated throughout and the expanding Iris Image Gallery on the website has further interlinked iris images highlighting examples of specific signs and conditions.

The practitioner, student or researcher in iridology is provided with even greater scope and solid reference bases when these books are accompanied with the series of CD-ROMs. The CDs continue from where the books concluded.
